About this Event
4001 Discovery Dr., Boulder, CO 80309
Each year, through the generosity of Patricia Sheffels and her family, CU's Department of Environmental Studies and Masters of the Environment programs host a visiting speaker to give a public talk on an environmental topic followed by a catered reception.
Our speaker this year is Dr. Fran Moore from the University of California, Davis. Aside from her impressive interdisciplinary research record, Dr. Moore also served on the White House Council of Economic Advisers in 2022–23. Dr. Moore's talk is titled "Economics for the Anthropocene: Understanding Human Well-Being in an Age of Climate Change, Biodiversity Loss, and Other Global Environmental Challenges."
