contextualizing moda within the broader narrative of Made in Italy, this lecture also examines the pillars of Italy's fashion system, by considering six exemplary case studies (Laura Biagiotti, Elsa Schiaparelli, Giorgio Armani, Bottega Veneta, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Brunello Cucinelli) and exploring through them original approaches to management. creativity, and sustainability in the industry.
Luca Cottini is Professor of Italian Studies at Villanova University. He is a scholar of modern Italian literature, a cultural historian of Italian industrialism, and the creator of the YouTube channel Italian Innovators.
