Get the big picture: Visualizing your instructional practices (VIP)
With Sarah Andrews Arts and Sciences Support of Education Through Technology (ASSETT)
This session is an opportunity to learn about ASSETT's Visualizing Instructional Practices (VIP) Service, which provides faculty with formative feedback on their teaching. Visualizations of descriptive data collected via classroom observations provide evidence-based insights into patterns of teaching and learning activities, technologies used in the classroom and levels of student engagement. In addition to learning about the service (the type of information you can get from an observation, example visualizations, how to request the service), participants will generate ideas for how they might use the service to gain insight into their teaching. Please note, while the workshop is open to anyone, the VIP service is always available to faculty of A&S courses, but is only offered on a case-by-case for faculty of other colleges.
Advanced registration is appreciated but not required. Please join us on Zoom Tue, Feb 21, 2023 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. This event does not count toward certificate credit.
