View map Free EventJavier Zamora, award-winning poet and activist, will join the campus for a conversation about Solito: A Memoir, as the culminating event of this years Buffs One Read.
Zamora will answer questions, speak on the themes of courage and resilience, and offer insights from his experiences.
Zamora's inspiring and intimate memoir details his journey from El Salvador to the United States as a nine year old boy. Solito is a first-person account of the hardships and suffering experienced by unaccompanied youth but equally a story of courage, compassion, humanity, and resilience.
