Achieving Greater Mental Health Wellness and Work/Life Balance

This event is for teaching and clinical faculty. The professional development workshop focuses on the importance of effectively balancing your teaching, clinical, service, and research responsibilities with the demands and needs of your personal life. It explores ways to achieve greater work/life balance to promote your mental health wellness and sustain a successful career at CU.  Each of our 3-4 panelists will briefly explain some of the challenges they have faced with balancing competing responsibilities at different stages in their careers and how they have worked to overcome these challenges by creating more healthy work/life boundaries. They will offer a few concrete (and memorable) suggestions that may help participants with their own efforts to be their self-advocates and achieve better balance and mental health wellness.  A 20-minute open discussion/Q&A follows.
