Active Harmful Events Seminar

This seminar examines how to survive an active shooting incident, what to expect when the police arrive and how to observe possible signs of impending workplace violence. 

Participants will be able to:

  • Identify ways to keep oneself safe in an active harmful event
  • Understand what to expect when law enforcement arrives
  • Identify possible signs of impending workplace violence

Any CU Boulder faculty or staff member who want to learn more about educating and preparing themselves for this type of situation are welcome to attend. There is no cost to attend. 

Participants are encouraged to bring lunch. Light snacks will be provided. This seminar is sponsored by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program and Elevations Credit Union.
