Nichole Barger, Professor of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology
In this symposium, we will actively engage in creating learning goals for a course, discuss the importance of communicating those learning goals to students, and demonstrate how to effectively align learning goals with course assignments. Participants will gain experience in setting reasonable assignments to achieve course learning goals. This event is cosponsored with the Graduate Teacher Program (GTP). Graduate student instructors are welcome to attend this session.
