Organized in collaboration with CU’s outstanding world languages departments and units, the showcase invites participants to immerse themselves in a diverse array of languages and cultures.
Event Highlights:
Language Booths in the VAC plaza: Learn about the various languages offered at CU, including less commonly taught languages. Engage in mini language lessons, cultural demonstrations, and interactive activities.
Language and Cultural Showcases at The HIVE @ALTEC (CASE E380): Enjoy workshops, presentations, and performances showcasing the rich traditions of different cultures and highlighting the endless opportunities provided by language learning.

11-11:30am: Italian Showcase:
Join us for a mini-intensive workshop on the language of the Mafia. Discover the difference between "Pizzo" (Lace) and "Pizzo" (Beak) and delve into the origins of this mysterious word: MAFIA.Come ready to explore the criminal language world and practice its unusual words together. It is definitely not Pizza!
