The American Music Research Center (AMRC), Koa String Quartet-in-residence and Johnette Makamaeakahaiokahoʻoponoponookapunahelekupuokaʻaina Martin present “He Inoa No Liliʻuokalani: A Lecture-Recital in Honor of Queen Lili’uokalani and the Royal Legacy of Hawaiian Music Performance.” The program includes “He Mele Lāhui Hawaiʻi,” “Kuʻu Pua I Paoakalani,” “Ke Aloha O Ka Haku” and “Aloha ʻOe” along with archival findings from our very own AMRC collections.
