Please join us Monday, Feb. 12, 12–12:30 p.m. MST to learn about the National Science Foundation’s Directorate for Technology, Innovation, and Partnerships (TIP). Authorized by the "CHIPS and Science Act" in 2022, TIP is charged with accelerating research and development of technologies critical to social and economic wellbeing in the United States, including disaster prevention and mitigation. Dr. Danielle Sumy, the speaker for this webinar, will provide a background on TIP directorate and its vision for disaster prevention and mitigation technologies.

She will also discuss the recently launched Responsible Design, Development, and Deployment of Technologies (ReDDDoT) program, which has disaster risk reduction as a focus.

If you are interested in learning about this new directorate and program, we hope you will join us! There will be time for questions at the end of the webinar.
