The Department of Asian Languages and Civilizations invites you to Arabic Cultural Night - Dabke. Dabke is a national dance in the Levant area in the Arab World. The event will host Nashame, a Colorado-based Dabke troupe. We will start with a short presentation on the history and significance of the dance, followed by performances by the troupe. They will engage the audience while teaching them somebasic steps, and we will end the evnet with some Egyptian Food.
