Academics and professional practitioners from around the world developed the images in this exhibition to explore the profound impact of generative algorithmic systems on the future of architectural design. The exhibition showcases how "AI-driven" technologies, once limited to small groups of specialists, have now become accessible to the everyday designer. Over the past few years, tools like text-to-image generators and other algorithmic models have opened up new creative possibilities, empowering anyone to produce complex architectural imagery with text prompts.

This newfound accessibility has sparked excitement and concern within the global architecture community. AI's potential to revolutionize the design process, expanding imagination and creativity beyond traditional boundaries, is a topic of discussion and exploration for architects and researchers. The exhibition invites visitors to engage with AI's possibilities and challenges, marking a pivotal moment in the evolving relationship between technology and architecture.

This exhibit was curated by Associate Professor Clay Odom, Assistant Professor Daniel Koehler, PhD and Associate Professor Kory Bieg from the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture. With additions from ENVD.
