Join us for a student-led workshop on how to make artivism (art activism). We will start off with a presentation about Fossil Free CU and the divestment movement on campus as well as the practice of art activism. Then we will promptly move into discussion and instruction on how to make art activism.

Attendees will be provided with second hand art supplies (paper, magazines, cardboard, glue, paint, markers, etc.) to create art and will be guided with prompts to express their hopes, fears, dreams and grievances around climate (in)justice. We will end up with an array of visual narratives of self expression that can help move forward FFCUs efforts. We are also aiming to have our pieces exhibited somewhere on campus!

Come learn and connect with others as we co-create a climate just future! Together we will use art as a tool for change!

This event is co-hosted by Fossil Free CU & the Environmental Center.

No art or activism experience needed. Food will be provided.
