Join the ATLAS community as we welcome Maddy Maxey, founder and technical lead of Loomia, for her talk “Getting from Hardware to E-Textiles.” Maxey's work centers on electronic textiles and brings together worlds that are simultaneously creative and technical. Her research and product development weaves together design, unique materials and electronic circuits, resulting in a range of functional textiles, such as color-changing fabric, conductive leather and germicide textiles. Maxey focuses on bringing flexible, robust circuitry (e-textiles) to scale, developing prototypes and workshops for companies like North Face, Google, Flextronics and Adidas.
