Join us for a discussion with Dr. Lauren Czaplicki on her path through academia and STEM climate.

GUEST: Dr. Lauren Czaplicki is an environmental engineer, science communicator, entrepreneur and advocate. She earned her PhD from Duke University for her pioneering work on mycoremediation. Her expertise spans mycology, molecular biology, analytical chemistry, and bioinformatics. She founded Science by Design, LLC with two goals: 1: to share her technical expertise with researchers and industry members and 2: to help technologists fascinate their key audiences and broaden their impact. She is a co-coordinator of 500 Women Scientists-Boulder, where she organizes programming to help make science more open, inclusive, and accessible.
