Professor Marty Baylor of Carleton College will talk about the Practicing Professional Framework, designed to promote rigor in developing traditional content knowledge and skill competencies through a growth mindset. Additionally, the framework allows for the natural inclusion of coursework that focuses on issues that STEM professionals care about that do not typically fall into traditional STEM courses such as diversity and inclusion.
