Staff Council invites all CU Boulder staff, faculty and students eligible to donate blood to participate in our blood drive. Blood center reserves are critically low, making it an especially crucial time for donating.

Donate and receive two free CU football tickets to the season-opening home game against Northern Colorado on Sept. 3, as well as a Vitalant t-shirt! 

For more information on donating blood, or volunteering at the blood drive, please contact Staff Council Administrator Eryn Van Poole. Walk-ins are also welcome!

Additionally, if you would like to contribute new or gently-used winter coats, a collection bin will be available to help support our efforts with Coats for Colorado. 

The blood drive will be held at the following locations:

Aug. 31 - Sept. 2
Rec Center, Ice Rink Overlook
9 a.m.-2:30 p.m

Sept. 1
East Campus, Vitalant bus parked on Marine Street near the ARC Building
9 a.m.-1:30 p.m

To schedule an appointment, please visit vitalant.org or call (303) 363-2300. You may sign up for any Vitalant location, using the Vitalant Blood Donation Donor Pledge Page. At your appointment, please share the CU Boulder Blood Drive Code, 0248, with Vitalant team members.

Be sure to eat a good meal and drink plenty of water before your donation. Donors can complete their Health History Questionnaire online. Please complete the questionnaire only on the day of donation and print out/bring a screenshot of the provided QR code when donating.
