Seminar: Securing the Navajo Nation's Water Future through Tribal Water Rights Settlements

Abstract
One in three households in the Navajo Nation lacks access to clean water and sanitation facilities. The Navajo Nation Department of Water Resources works to secure, protect, and manage water resources for the largest land-based and populated tribe in the United States. The Department is diversifying the Navajo Nation's water portfolio and interconnecting public water systems. Water rights settlements have been critical to securing the Navajo Nation's water future.
