Join the University Libraries at Norlin’s West Entrance to celebrate our right to read and our community read program!

We will highlight the Buffs One Read title Solito: A Memoir. Come learn about this inspiring tale of migration told from the perspective of a nine year old child. Learn more about upcoming events that will highlight the book’s themes. All first-year and transfer students may also retrieve a complimentary copy of the title. All are welcome to join the Buffs One Read Community: read the book, join a book club or discussion, share your story, or teach the course.

Each fall since 1982, libraries and librarians have defended access to diverse information by drawing attention to threats against the right to read. Banned Books Week is September 22-28, 2024, and the theme of this year’s event is “Freed Between the Lines.” Stop by to learn more about banned books. Complimentary copies of banned books will be distributed every fifteen minutes while supplies last.

About the Culture Crawl: The Culture Crawl is a campus-wide event celebrating CU Boulder arts & culture. Stop by the different locations to take part in immersive activities, performances, artmaking, food tasting and more. Pick up a free Culture Crawl t-shirt at any event (while supplies last) and swipe in with your Buff OneCard to enter a prize raffle. The more events you attend, the more opportunities to win. See all Culture Crawl events.
