We invite students, staff and faculty to learn more about the Boren Award! Come meet with a rep from the IIE Boren Awards office to get in-depth details about the scholarship and the application process. Boren Scholars (undergrad) and Fellows (graduate) study a wide range of critical languages, including Arabic, Mandarin, Portuguese, Hindi, Hebrew and more. Boren Awards are available to students of all proficiency levels who are committed to enhancing their skills in the language and going on to work in public service, specifically in positions critical to U.S. national security throughout the Federal Government.
Student session: Oct. 19, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
Faculty/Staff session: Oct. 19, 12–1 p.m.
