Boulder Conversations with Nii Armah Sowah

Join us for an evening with Nii Armah Sowah, a Senior Instructor of Dance at CU Boulder and arts educator with the 1000 Voices Project. Learn about his varied professional experience as an actor (television, film and stage), choreographer, dancer, singer, fashion model, and art therapist, as well as how he blends his African heritage and understanding of Western psychology to provide powerful and unique dance experiences. A native of Ghana, Nii Armah passionately believes that dance is a human right and uses songs, rhythm games, storytelling and dance to facilitate community building, cultivate multi-cultural understanding, and encourage personal growth.
