Building Effective Partnerships with Native and Indigenous Communities Workshop

CU Boulder faculty and staff working or considering working with native and indigenous communities are invited to attend a workshop that will focus on building effective partnerships. RSVP by April 5.

The workshop is for faculty and staff who already work with indigenous communities and for those who would like to learn more about opportunities for initiating or collaborating in this type of work. It seeks to increase communication and awareness about current projects and encourage others to join or to find out more about existing resources at CU Boulder.

The workshop is co-sponsored by the Center for Native American and Indigenous Studies (CNAIS) and the Office for Outreach and Engagement at CU Boulder. CNAIS  promotes collaborative research focusing on local and global indigenous knowledge and experience, provides native students and faculty an intellectual and social home at CU Boulder and fosters wide-ranging projects that aim to open conversations across Colorado and beyond. The Office for Outreach and Engagement helps connect research, teaching and creative work with communities statewide and beyond through programs, initiatives, resources and services.

Friday, April 12 at 10:00am to 12:00pm
