 lm Festival\, present a “cine-concert" — a silent film with live music
  composed and performed by renowned klezmer violinist Alicia Svigals and c
 elebrated silent film pianist Donald Sosin. Svigals and Sosin will perform
  during one screening of the silent film "The Man without a World."\n\nAli
 cia Svigals is a founder of the Grammy-winning Klezmatics and the world's 
 foremost klezmer fiddler. She has spent her life reviving a musical art fo
 rm that came perilously close to extinction in the Holocaust. In May 2023\
 , Svigals was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters by t
 he Jewish Theological Seminary  for "extraordinary contributions to the ar
 ts and Jewish life."\n\nDonald Sosin is one of the foremost silent film co
 mposers in the world\, with 49 years of performing at major film festivals
  and archives\, from MoMA\, Lincoln Center\, BAM\, Telluride\, San Francis
 co and Seattle to Pordenone\, Bologna\, Berlin\, Vienna\, Ljubljana\, Rije
 ka\, Moscow\, Odessa\, Bangkok\, and Shanghai.\n\nThis program is also mad
 e possible by support from the Sunrise Foundation for Education and the Ar
 ts and the Roser Visiting Artist Endowment.
