Please join the Department of Computer Science in celebrating the distinguished career of Prof. Clayton Lewis.

Prof. Lewis joined CU in 1984 and helped CU Boulder become a center for education and research in the area of human-computer interaction.

He also greatly contributed to the teaching mission within the department becoming a President's Teaching Scholar in 1989 and teaching classes beloved by generations of students at CU.

We will be meeting in person to celebrate Clayton Lewis on August 25th.  Several members of the CS department will share their reflections on Clayton’s influence and legacy and there will be a chance for attendees to share their own stories if they so desire. Light refreshments will be served.

Clayton’s Retirement Party is now going to be held outside (previously we were going to hold it in the CSEL). The location outside is known as the “The Portico Triad” which is the covered walkway that runs adjacent to the Civil, Architectural & Environmental Engineering wing under the engineering center, the  two open courtyards west of it and the Lawn Space south and adjacent to the Mechanical Engineering Section of the Engineer Center.
