Climate Change in our Backyard - Breaking the Ice

Every September, scientists mark the seasonal low point of ice coverage for Earth's glaciers and the Arctic ice cap. Join us on a journey through time, both into the past and future, as well as across thousands of miles from the polar regions to our own Colorado Rockies. Through a stunning combination of never before seen virtual reality film and photography, taken by Fiske's own staff and CU Boulder affiliates, we’ll join scientists in their effort to understand our changing climate and the potential consequences we face. The latest satellite, aerial, and on the ground imaging reveal new data about some of our planet's most vulnerable areas.
