Coffee & Conversations on Community Engagement: Graduate Student Opportunities
Want to learn about or connect with others interested in outreach and community-engaged research, teaching and creative work?
Join us virtually to learn about and discuss "Graduate Student Opportunities" with Lisa Schwartz, PhD, of the Office for Outreach and Engagement, staff from CU Engage and literacy PhD student Dan Moore. We will discuss Engaged Arts and Humanities Scholars and Community-Based Research Fellows graduate student cohort opportunities for 2022-23, a graduate student-run journal based at CU, and discuss why we value community engaged work for the graduate student experience.
Faculty, staff and students (new to the work or experienced in community engagement) are invited to drop in anytime and invite their colleagues to these informal community-building opportunities. Coffee & Conversations are a fun way for attendees to connect with others from across campus, including staff from the Office for Outreach and Engagement and CU Engage, while they also learn from one another and generate informal conversation about key topics related to working with communities external to CU Boulder.
The Coffee & Conversations on Community Engagement series is sponsored by the Office for Outreach and Engagement and CU Engage. We connect research, teaching and creative work with communities across Colorado and beyond, and help to develop and support mutually beneficial partnerships.
