Colorado Skies: The Spring Equinox

Why does the Sun rise due east and set due west on the equinox? And, how is it that day and night are equal in length on the equinoxes? We'll also explore the spring constellations and let you know what celestial objects to look for with the naked eye, a pair of binoculars, or a small telescope.
