About this Event
Colorful Women is a virtual six-week process group centering the experiences common amongst BIPOC women to connect, dialogue, celebrate and support each other’s whole authentic selves through an intersectional lens. Common themes discussed include, but are not limited to, stress management and mental health concerns, race, ethnicity, gender, empowerment, resiliency, interpersonal relationships and professional adjustment and achievement. This space is often viewed as a “reservoir,” and a safe and supportive environment designed to unify participants to overcome challenges.
This group is open to all CU Boulder staff and faculty and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, veteran status, marital status, political affiliation, political philosophy, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression in accordance with state, federal, and Regent law.
