A new exhibit at the CU Museum of Natural History, The Dinosaur Freeway in Colorado, will take a deep dive into the Earth’s Crustaceous period, when dinosaurs sauntered, slithered and scurried across our state 140 million years ago. Visitors to the Paleontology Hall will learn about different tracks (fossilized footprints), how they were formed, what trace fossils can tell us about behavior, and how to differentiate true tracks from natural casts.
