Conversations with Sustainable Buffs: Lifestyles of the Ecologically Rich
This is not a class, a lecture, or a panel. This is a place for students who are looking for peers who care about these issues and are looking to further their knowledge in the vast and interconnected world of climate change. It’s about making the world a better place through a community of diverse students who are passionate about the many issues climate change presents.
"The term “sustainability” is used so freely, it’s difficult to understand what it can mean. Bring what you already know and explore our featured articles, podcasts, and short videos which are designed to be a guide for community building, transformative learning, and fuel for life-changing action. When you break big issues into bite-sized pieces and talk through them with others, you discover insights and inspiration from perspectives you may have never heard before. You learn, together. You build a personal network of shared stories and support that makes it easy to take action. In short, you become part of a community for change.
This week we are talking about consumption and economies:
- Consumer culture and consumption patterns,
- Alternatives to consumption
- Circular economy
