Kick off summer productively with our May Writing Retreat! Join other graduate students for a four-day retreat providing the dedicated time, space, and community needed to focus on your academic writing and develop healthy habits that continue into the summer months.

We highly recommend attending all four days of this in-person retreat if possible.

  • Each day begins with focused programming from 8:30-9:00am featuring practical sessions on topics like writing strategies, overcoming procrastination, building sustainable habits, and accessing campus resources.
  • The core of each day (9:00am-12:00pm) is reserved for independent writing in a supportive environment.
  • A Writing Center consultant will be available for individual appointments to provide personalized feedback on papers, dissertation/thesis chapters, or other academic works.
