DESCRIPTION:This monthly series provides a venue in which members of the Re
 search Computing community can discuss and ask questions about specific ty
 pes of HPC workflows. This month’s topic is large language models ( LLMs
 ).  CU Research Computing recently added LLM capabilities to Alpine and Bl
 anca.  Using LLMs on HPC resources provides an additional layer of data pr
 ivacy\, reduces costs\, and facilitates further training of specialized LL
 Ms with HPC infrastructure. This is a great forum to ask questions and sha
 re your ongoing and planned LLM research with staff so that we can better 
 support your needs! \n\n \n\nRequirements: While a Research Computing Acco
 unt is not required\, it is encouraged if you would like to practice on th
 e Alpine supercomputer. RMACC members should refer to our RMACC Access to 
 Alpine page for account creation.
