Do you struggle with stirring up energy, passion, and work ethic in your classes? Are you burnt-out from competing with students' multitude of responsibilities, the state of world affairs, and general procrastination? This workshop is hosted by teaching assistants from a variety of fields - dance, languages, music, and art history - as we brainstorm creative ways to assess students' progress. While grades, approval, and GPA requirements serve as motivation for many, we want to look past these traditional incentives to incorporate more accessible and compassionate ways of marking growth.
