About this Event
CU Engage is the Center for Community-Based Learning and Research at the University of Colorado Boulder. CU Engage collaborates with communities, schools, and organizations to address complex public challenges. We have several programs for high school and undergraduate students. In this online Open House, we will describe programs such as Aquetza, a free, one-week summer residential program on campus that engages high school students in the study of Chicano/Latino history and literature. Public Achievement is an undergraduate course and program that places k-12 students and community in the center of public life, where they address social issues that they identify are important to them. And INVST is a two-year program for CU students focused on eco-social justice and community leadership. Attendees will learn how to get involved or enrolled in INVST, Aquetza, and PA, this year.
Join us on July 16 from noon to 12:40 pm to learn more!
Colorado high school students, undergraduate students, and those who work with students interested in learning more can register.
