CU Engineering - Metro DC Alumni Event

Join us in Arlington for our DC alumni network launch event featuring Professor Lain Boyd, Director of the Center for National Security Initiatives at CU Boulder.

The U.S. faces a broad range of threats from potential adversaries across the domains of land, sea, air, space, and cyber.  The Center for National Security Initiatives (NSI) represents a new push by CU to help meet the challenges of defending the nation through advanced research on critical technologies. Building on basic research ideas, NSI seeks to foster partnerships between the campus and industry to deliver essential capabilities to government customers. Areas of interest include space, communications, autonomy, and cybersecurity. NSI's approach will be illustrated through an overview of our research on hypersonic systems, which is a key priority for the Department of Defense.

In addition, our alumni engagement team will share plans for the future of the Metro DC Alumni Network and there will be plenty of time to connect with fellow Engineering Buffs. We hope to see you there!
