CU Engineering is returning to Southern California!
Join us in Redondo Beach for an evening of networking and discovery with Professor Evan Thomas, Director of the Mortenson Center in Global Engineering. At the event, you'll hear how CU Engineering is helping millions of pastoralists in Africa, farmers in California and native American communities in Colorado conserve and maintain their water and food resources in the face of climate change. As always, there will be plenty of time to network with your fellow Engineering Buffs. Learn more and register to join us below!

The current 20-year megadrought throughout the western United States is the worst in more than 500 years and is intensifying social and economic stressors. Water shortages and food insecurity are increasing around the world. Today, two billion people live with chronic high-water stress, and four billion experience water stress at least one month a year. The quality of the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the water we drink is increasingly under threat from climate change.

Join us to learn how CU Boulder’s strengths in climate science, technology development, and the social dimensions of environmental change are being amplified and translated to beneficial community impact globally.

Registration is $10 and includes hors d'oeuvres, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Please register to reserve your spot. We hope to see you there!
