CU on the Weekend lecture: An Arctic Perspective on Contemporary Global Warming
The Arctic is warming two to three times faster than the rest of the Earth, a fact with complex implications that researchers are just beginning to understand.
In this CU on the Weekend lecture, Gifford Miller, professor of geological sciences and interim director of the Institute for Arctic and Alpine Research, will discuss how researchers measure and evaluate contemporary global warming, and how current warming trends compare to earlier centuries.
CU on the Weekend is a free lecture series coordinated by the Office for Outreach and Engagement that features some of CU Boulder's most dynamic faculty.
