Don't miss the world premiere production of Daisy Violet the Bitch Beast King by Sam Collier, currently pursuing a doctorate in Theatre and Performance Studies, directed by Aaron Klass, currently pursuing a MA in Theatre and Performance Studies.

Collier’s play is a timely dark comedy about girlhood, featuring the work of local artists. Up in their attic, sisters Josephine and Henrietta create a new sister for their family; she's gleeful and monstrous and embodies everything they've dreamed of: the rage of children, the fury of girls.

This is the first production from Feather Fall Theatre Company. Aaron Klass established Feather Fall in order to create platforms for excellent local playwrights, and to create opportunities for emerging artists to work with established professionals. The company is designed to showcase the outstanding theatre of Colorado, and to experiment with innovative models for the arts economy in tumultuous political times.

Other CU students/grads and faculty working on this production include: Bianca Patten, Gwen Burke, Frank Brickman, Peter Bodin, Sasha Solvyev (currently enrolled students), Jonathan Spencer is Teaching Professor of Lighting Design, Brosnan Bustamante is a graduate of the Design Tech Management BFA, and Heather Kelley holds a doctorate in Performance Studies. A true CU collaboration.
