I think everyone needs a degree of playfulness and imagination, because how are we going to even create a new world if we can't even imagine it?  --Chelsea Cleveland

Do you envision a future where liberatory design practices are the gold standard in design, urban planning, and architecture? So do we!

Utilizing multi-media engagement, participants explore themes such as climate, housing, and racial justice through the lens of design.  Using foundations of design justice with hands on practices we will strengthen our imaginations to create and build the world where we take care of each other and the planet.

All are welcome; please rsvp here!

Aleiya Evison, our guest facilitator, comes to design with a background in Ethnic Studies and Political Science from the University of Oregon (B.A. 2018). Originally from Colorado, she is passionate about storytelling, design justice, and the radical imagination. These passions were fomented during her studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in the Art, Design, and the Public Domain Program (MDes 2020). Her work as a consultant, designer, and facilitator is rooted in a lens of healing, joy, and belonging.

Edie De La Cerda, Architecture student at CU Denver will be co-facilitating
