This session provides an overview of the Learning Assistant (LA) Program including its foundational origins at CU Boulder and development to its current status as a national platform.

Instructors will learn how LAs could enhance student engagement and learning in online courses, hear from CE Online LAs and faculty, and explore their own ideas for how LAs could enhance student engagement and learning in online courses. We’ll briefly review the LA recruitment and hiring process/timeline.
