Do you want to learn to analyze your own omics data? You are in luck.

The annual DnA Lab Short-Read sequencing workshop is back! This year, we will hold the Short Read workshop from July 11–July 22. Attendance is FREE! The classes will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday through Friday in the JSCBB building at CU Boulder (CU Boulder East Campus). You must wear a mask, even if vaccinated. Homework study sessions will be from 1-3 p.m. each day, during which time you can talk to a lab member for assistance. This class is geared toward people who have little to no Linux/command-line experience. We will NOT teach you everything you would learn in a 4-year bioinformatics degree. We will teach you basic commands you need to analyze RNA-seq/ChIP-seq, and we will teach you how to find help when analyzing data.

You will need to bring a laptop to class. You should not register if you cannot attend every class. If you wish to attend, you must register for an Eventbrite ticket. The class is open to anyone (regardless of where they are employed). However, we reserve the right to limit the number of people per lab if we reach maximum capacity. If we must limit attendees, we will contact both the PI and researchers via email. The PI will make the final decision on which lab members will attend.
