Dr. Daniel Larremore's 2022 Waterman Lecture: 'Trends in U.S. faculty hiring and retention from ten years of data: a study of prestige, diversity and inequality'

Dr. Daniel Larremore will discuss his lab’s research using mathematical methods and network analyses to examine the academic employment and doctoral education of all tenure-track faculty at Ph.D.-granting U.S. universities from 2011 to 2020. He is a recipient of the 2022 Alan T. Waterman Award.

"Daniel B. Larremore is recognized “for foundational research in computational epidemiology, combining mathematics and computation with real-world data to create powerful new models that provide concrete, innovative, and useful answers to globally important questions in the study of epidemic dynamics, including timely research on vaccination and testing strategies for combatting the COVID-19 pandemic.”
