Weekend Event with the Colorado Ocean Coalition

Weekend Event with the Colorado Ocean Coalition, Saturday, April 20, 2019 1—3 p.m.
Location: William's Village Village Center, Breakout Room A/B
Reservation required.

Please note: this event has been updated. There is no longer a component on April 13.

The CU Art Museum and the Colorado Ocean Coalition are pairing up for Earth Day, promoting restoration of our natural surroundings and cultivating a new use for waste found in our community. The event aims to heighten awareness of pollution and waste as well as devise ways to reuse excess waste.

On April 20th, CUAM and COC will be hosting a workshop centered around plastic waste and the travel of plastics from inland streams in Colorado to the ocean. The Colorado Ocean Coalition will be hosting a Boulder Creek Cleanup on April 21st. We hope you can attend one of these programs as a way to celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd. For reservations or more information on the April 20th program, please contact Valerie.Foley@colorado.edu.
