The National Wildlife Federation will be hosting the sixth annual EcoCareers Conference this April with more sessions, more options and more opportunities for college students and educators to learn about and prepare to thrive as a part of the green workforce of tomorrow. CU Boulder is a campus sponsor of the conference providing all students, faculty and staff free registration. This year’s conference will feature keynote addresses from leaders in the environmental justice movement, Dr. Karen Weaver and Marcus Sibley, and includes panels of professionals in the following fields and areas of expertise:

  • Environmental justice, featuring community engagement, research, data analysis and consulting
  • Urban and municipal planning, featuring climate equity, transportation planning, tree equity and building retrofitting for renewable energy
  • Health and wellness, featuring nutrition, healing outdoors and dealing with eco-grief and climate anxiety
  • Environmental education, featuring K-12 and higher education professionals, and independent content expert

Learn about careers in these and other sectors from industry and business leaders, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and successful entrepreneurs who will be sharing their insights, advice and inspirational stories.
