The April Symposium is focused on exploring the many realizations of energy dissipation and investigating the properties of this fascinating class of soft materials such as hydrogels and elastomers from both experimental and theoretical perspectives. The objective of this workshop is to bring together engineers, physicists, and chemists who are interested in understanding the relationship between dynamic molecular networks and their macroscopic responses.

More than 20 experts in network mechanics, soft matter systems, biophysical networks, dynamic polymers, and other nonlinear systems whose complexity derives from spatiotemporal topology, will present at the workshop.
