Effective Feedback for Written Work

With Rolf Norgaard

Research has shown that students respond well to feedback that is timely, clear, actionable, and consistent with instruction and course goals. Students can grow as writers when they have multiple opportunities to receive feedback and revise their writing. This session will share effective strategies for providing feedback that is useful for students and effective for faculty who are teaching with writing.
