Energy Frontiers is a 100% student-led conference organized by CU Energy Club. It takes place on the CU Boulder campus in the SEEC building auditorium and consists of a career/networking fair, a panel discussion on a pressing energy topic, and a keynote address by a local energy expert! The career/networking fair will feature 20+ companies in the energy sector that are looking to interact with CU's students.

4:30-5:30pm: Keynote by Byron Kominek - SEEC C120 A/B

Byron Kominek is the owner of Jack's Solar Garden, a local company that is on the forefront of integrating agriculture with solar energy. "In December 2018, Xcel Energy’s Solar*Rewards Community Program accepted Jack's Solar Garden's  innovative proposal to partner with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Colorado State University, and the University of Arizona to build a 1.2 MW community solar garden where researchers will study how best to grow crops underneath and around our solar panels and where our community will benefit from social and environmental services that we will provide."
