Engaged Arts and Humanities Scholars Program Call for Applications

The Center for the Humanities & the Arts (CHA) and the Office for Public and Community-Engaged Scholarship invites graduate students from the arts, humanities, and related fields to apply for the Engaged Arts and Humanities Scholars program. This two-year program focuses on co-designing community-engaged projects, fostering academic and professional skills, and addressing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Scholars receive a $5,000 stipend over two years and up to $1,000 for community-engaged partnership projects.

Eligibility:

  • Open to graduate students working in arts/humanities at CU Boulder
  • Applicants must commit to program meetings and activities
  • No prior experience in engaged scholarship required

 

Application:

  • Submit a CV and personal information
  • Address four questions on research, community engagement, and goals
  • Two mandatory meetings in April 2025
