Students in large classrooms (250+) often sit in the back, become disengaged, and may only be taking your course as a requirement. How do we reach out and engage these students? How can we convert them to the dark side (our departmental major)? This will be a roundtable discussion exploring ways we can do so, based on ideas and implementations led by the EBIO department in revising our 1500+ General Biology course, recent educational research, and fielding and discussing your ideas.
