The ENVS and GEOG majors at CU offer great flexibility for students to explore various subjects within their broader area of study. This flexibility allows students to specialize in a particular field, which can be accomplished by adding an additional major or minor(s) and navigating key degree requirements to help tailor those skills for jobs and graduate programs. The Peer Advisors at the Advising Center for Excellence (ACE) are holding a student success workshop to guide ENVS and GEOG students on how to enhance their current major by adding other fields to their degree through minors and dual degrees. We want students to take advantage of all the curricular options these majors have to offer!
Students can come to learn about how other majors or minors can fit into their schedules for the upcoming semesters by seeing examples on the Degree Audit. Peer Advisors will also share their experiences of adding minors to show how they can mesh seamlessly with the Environmental Studies and Geography Degrees. We hope to see you there!
